Our highly experienced rheumatologist provides all types of intra articular, bursal, tendon sheath, carpal tunnel, nerve blocks, trigger point and soft tissue injections. We have advanced ultrasound equipment to help visualize tendons, nerves, and joints non-invasively when needed to improve accuracy.
Types of injections-
Each patient is different due to their underlying medical conditions, type & severity of arthritis. One or more modalities may be indicated after weighing risks and benefits. Our team can guide, and answer any questions for the best possible results.
You will be seen by a rheumatologist with extensive training in Internal Medicine and further specialist training and board certification in Rheumatology. Your rheumatologist believes in evidence-based medicine and not eminence-based medicine. So, if we recommend a medication for you, it is because scientific evidence shows its benefits and not just “because we said so”.
We know that when you want to see a rheumatologist, you should be able to see them within a reasonable time; if we give you an appointment for three months from today, your condition could worsen in the interim. We therefore make every effort to see all new patients within a reasonable time frame. Additionally, if your physician feels you should be seen sooner, we ALWAYS try to see you within 1 week. If it means we have to stay back in the evening to see you or work on the weekend, we will!
Your time is just as important as ours. No one wants to wait for an hour to see their physician. We respect your time and we hope you will respect ours as well. We request that you arrive on time for your appointment. If you are a new patient, we would appreciate it if you can come 15 minutes prior to your appointment time so that you can finish all paperwork and be seen on time. Our new patient form is available online (in a secure format) to save you time and energy.
We use a CMS compliant Electronic Medical Record system- this allows us to be a “paperless” office- allowing us to store all documents electronically and securely. Using our Patient Portal, you will be able to access your records from the comfort of your home and electronically communicate with your physician. Your referring physician will get a report of your visit, – so that they are kept up to date on your health status.
We accept all major health insurance plans and are conveniently located on Wickham Rd with easy access from US-1 as well as I-95
